Vernissage und Katalogpräsentation: 6.Mai 2016, 17 Uhr
Das Jahr 2016 ist für die Galerie Slavik ein besonderes Jahr: 25 Jahre Bestehen der Galerie für Zeitgenössische Schmuckkunst! Anlässlich dieses Jubiläums gibt es heuer zwei große Ausstellungen, in denen die KünstlerInnen geehrt und gefeiert werden. Zu beiden Ausstellungen wird jeweils ein Katalog erscheinen, der unser Jubiläumsjahr präsentiert und dokumentiert. In Zeiten der Veränderung steht die Galerie Slavik für Kontinuität.
Für unsere Ausstellung „SCHMUCK STADTGESPRÄCH” am 6. Mai 2016 haben unsere KünstlerInnen fantastische Kreationen angefertigt. Ihre Schaffenskraft, die Verbundenheit, sowie die langjährige Zusammenarbeit mit der Galerie lassen die ausgestellten Werke spürbar in den Himmel wachsen. Wir sind beglückt über die künstlerische Qualität, den Ideenreichtum und die Einzigartigkeit der Kunstwerke. Folgende KünstlerInnen nehmen teil:

Nach wie vor ist es der Galeristin Renate Slavik und ihrem Team ein Bedürfnis kunstinteressierten Menschen - Künstlern, Sammlern, Museumsleuten, Architekten und Kunden aus der ganzen Welt - einen wichtigen Platz des Austausches zu bieten, an denen sie besondere Schmuckkunst finden.

Vernissage and catalogue presentation: 6 May 2016, 5 p.m.
2016 is a special year for the Slavik Gallery: the showcase for “Contemporary International Jewellery Art” is now 25 years old! We are marking this jubilee with two large-scale exhibitions paying due tribute to our artists. For each exhibition a catalogue will be published to celebrate the anniversary year and document it for posterity. In times marked by change and upheaval, the Slavik Gallery stands for continuity.
For our exhibition “TALKING JEWELLERY IN THE CITY”, which opens on 6 May, our artists have brought forth truly fantastic creations powered by their enormous inventiveness and the many years of our collaboration. We are over the moon about the artistic quality and wealth of ideas in this stunning array of one-off works of jewellery art. The following artists are taking part:

For the gallery-owner Renate Slavik and her team the goal of the gallery is not just to exhibit and offer very special jewellery: they also feel a deep need to make it a place where art-lovers – artists, collectors, representatives of museums, architects and gallery patrons – can come together for exchange of ideas and human communication.
