This autumn, Galerie Slavik is starting its new exhibition cycle with a series of individually strong and impressive geometric creations in materials from shining gold to stainless steel and cool marble.

The German jewellery artist Birgit Hagmann presents finely woven silver mesh necklaces in light and dark shades. In meticulous craftsmanship, the artist also creates breathtakingly beautiful brooches composed of rectangular and circular, sawn and sliced elements. In her most recent works she experiments with splendid colours such as pink, green and white.

Kamilla Ruberg’s delicate and graceful jewellery works in gold and palladium reveal the artist’s genuine fascination for geometry. Movement, balance, symmetries and asymmetries find their reflection in brooches and necklaces of unique and subtle radiance.

Yoko Shimizu presents her fascinating “Transformation” series of necklaces made of colourful, transparent resins, whose surfaces dynamically reflect the structure of wood. Other works in blackened silver combined with gold were inspired by an empty and dark Arno River landscape mirroring the golden lights of the adjoining city.

The Italian sculptor and jewellery artist Giovanni Sicuro perceives the creation of jewellery art as the act of striking an ideal balance between craftsmanship and material, form, colour and surface plasticity. He sets the colours of different materials in dialogue to one another: a ring composed of gold, white enamel and raw quartz; a wearable miniature sculpture made of gold, silver and niello to be used as a brooch or as a pendant with a matching chain.

We look forward to showing you around our gallery and introducing you to our artists and their extraordinary creations.
