Mosaik in Gold und Silber, rotes Pigment auf Gold und Stahl – faszinierende Kreationen der italienischen Schmuckkunst erwarten Sie in der Galerie Slavik.
Die Vertreter der Paduaner Schule des „Instituto Pietro Selvatico“ setzen verstärkt auf neue Materialien und Farbigkeit, die mit verschiedenen Techniken erreicht wird. War bisher vor allem Gold das typische Schmuckelement, so sind es jetzt zusätzlich Kunststoff, Glas, Kupfer, Eisen, Rost, Titan, Papier und anderes mehr. Die Elemente der Kette aus Gold und Stahl von Annamaria Zanella, verbunden durch Goldstege, leuchten in venezianischem Rot. Die Künstlerin baut aus ungewöhnlichen Materialien wie z. B. Stahl, Pappe und Papier Schmuckobjekte, die den Neo- Dadaismus zurückzuholen scheinen, aber Kreativität, Stärke und mutiger Einfallsreichtum sprechen für einen offen zum Ausdruck gebrachten Rationalismus. Die Strenge der geometrischen Abstraktion verbindet die Arbeiten von Zanella mit ihren Kollegen der Paduaner Schule, wie zum Beispiel Graziano Visintin, der durch das Auftragen von Niello dunkle Akzente auf seine goldenen Objekte setzt. Kreativität, Sensibilität und mutiger Erfindungsreichtum zeichnen die Arbeiten der Schmuckkünstler aus. Charakteristisch ist die extreme Präzision in der Fertigung und die Reduzierung der Materialien, die zu einer Leichtigkeit der Schmuckstücke führt. Stefano Marchetti kreiert durch seine Technik tragbare Mosaike in Gold und Silber. Die aufwendig gefertigten Broschen von Barbara Paganin aus Glas und Porzellan gebrannt erinnern an Meerestiefen.

Mosaics in gold and silver, red pigment on gold and steel – fascinating Italian jewellery art creations await you at Galerie Slavik.
The representatives of the Padua School of the Instituto Pietro Selvatico are working with a variety of techniques to enhance their focus on new materials and colour. Gold, the hitherto typical jewellery element, is now complemented and highlighted by a wide variety of additional materials such as plastic, glass, copper, iron, rust, titan, paper, etc. The gold and steel necklace created by Annamaria Zanella links elements gleaming in Venetian red with gold straps. The artist uses uncommon materials like steel, cardboard and paper to build her jewellery objects recalling Neo-Dadaism, although their creativity, strength and bold imagination rather speak for openly expressed rationalism. A strict geometric abstraction is what Zanella’s works share with those of her colleagues from the Padua School, Graziano Visintin, for instance, who uses niello to set dark accents to his objects executed in gold. Creative vision, high sensitivity and spirited resourcefulness characterise the works of these jewellery artists. A typical trait is their extraordinary refined craftsmanship and bold reduction of the materials, which lends their works a sense of lightness and ease. In his unique technique Stefano Marchetti creates mosaics in gold and silver – sculptural art to wear. The elaborately worked brooches made of glass and fired porcelain by Barbara Paganin are reminiscent of the deep sea.
