Der Schweizer Künstler Daniele Buetti (geb.
1956) wurde in den 1990ern mit manipulierten Fotos von Supermodels
berühmt. Für ihn sind Models die Heiligen einer profanisierten
Gesellschaft und obwohl seine eigenen Votivbilder starken dekorativen
Charakter besitzen, sieht Buetti sie nicht als simple Bejahung

1956) became famous in the 1990s with manipulated photos of supermodels.
For him, models are the saints of a profane society, and although
his own votive pictures have a strongly decorative character, Buetti
does not see them simply as an affirmation of the beauty industry.
